It doesn't have to hurt!

I often hear, and I confess, it surprises me every time, that people over the age of 35-40 think it's normal to have some pain. And as long as the pain is bearable, they consider it fine and don't even think about the need or possibility of changing it.
In my conviction, this is not normal.
It doesn't have to hurt!
It would be more important to learn how to treat our bodies and souls well, to learn to love ourselves, at least as much as we love others and do for others, so that we feel good in our own bodies.
After all, we can only give to others if we are happy and well.
You cannot give from an empty basket, when exhausted.
Certainly not what we truly want.
Whether you want to play with your children, or spend time with your partner or friends, the pain and the fatigue that comes with it take so much out of you that you don't have enough energy left for it.
And the solution is not to pop a pill or rub something on it and suppress the symptoms – of course, there are times when this also has its justification – but this will not bring real results.
What can truly bring lasting results is if we put ourselves in order.
Just as we clean the apartment and service the car, we should (also) do the same for ourselves.
One essential element of this is movement.
The function of muscles is to move our bodies. I don't think I'm revealing a big secret with that. Let's look at the symmetry of the right and left sides, for example.
Basically, it's good to be as symmetrical as possible. If, for example, the back muscles on the right side are stronger than on the left side, it will also affect our spine. It will pull it. Perhaps only slightly, which we might not even notice with the naked eye, but this already contributes to creating tension, which later leads to musculoskeletal problems and pain. The same applies to the front and back sides. If our thighs are very strong in the front, for example, but not in the back, that can tilt our pelvis forward. Which again leads to compensation in our musculoskeletal system, which again can be a source of pain in the long run.
What can we do? Find the source of the pain and eliminate it.
One reason why I fell in love with Pilates is that it can do this preventively, when, for example, physiotherapy is not yet needed.
It's about health.
It's excellent for creating muscle and, through that, joint balance, which makes us feel better in our bodies, helps prevent pain, or improves existing pain of unknown origin. When this is not enough, we can work in cooperation with physiotherapists and doctors.
Always with individual exercises and therapies tailored to the individual and their condition.
So that pain doesn't stand in the way of you being able to joyfully spend time with your family and friends. Have enough energy to live your everyday life the way you want to!
It is definitely important to take care of ourselves and move!
With Pilates as a standalone workout, you can create a super body – one that not only functions well but is also aesthetic. As a complementary workout, it helps us pursue our other beloved sports with balanced joint equilibrium and without injury – be it tennis, running, golf, or anything else you love.
With my knowledge and …… years of experience, and my dedication, I want to contribute to you feeling better in your everyday lives.
So you can enjoy your life more through this. Be it a barbecue with friends, or a bike tour with the kids. Anything that brings you joy! Don't let your fears hold you back, whether you can do it, whether you'll have the strength for it, but enjoy it!
Treat your body well so it becomes your accomplice!
