It's not your lower back that hurts. You're carrying a lifetime.

There's that moment when you sit up in bed in the morning.
Nothing has happened yet.
You haven't worked yet.
You haven't lifted anything yet.
You haven't rushed anywhere yet.
And you already feel it.
Your lower back.
Many people say at this point:
"I must have slept badly."
"It's just my age."
"It will pass."
Then weeks go by.
Months.
Sometimes better.
Sometimes worse.
But it's always there somehow.
Yet most of the time, the biggest problem isn't even with your lower back.
But with the fact that for too long, everyone else has been more important.
You work.
You help.
You manage.
You organize.
You pay attention to everyone.
Except yourself.
And after a while, your body starts to speak.
First, just softly.
A little stiffness.
A little tension.
A little pain.
If we don't listen to that either, it gets louder and louder.
We had a client who said during their first session:
– All I want is to be able to put on my socks in the morning without having to prepare for three minutes beforehand.
They didn't want to run a marathon.
Not to do the splits.
Not a six-pack.
Just to get their everyday life back.
A few weeks later, they told us with a smile:
– Imagine… this morning I just put on my socks. And only then did it occur to me that it used to hurt.
That's why we love what we do so much.
Because it's not just muscles that get stronger.
But freedom returns.
The feeling of not having to weigh every movement.
Can I do it?
Or will it hurt again?
For us, Pilates is never important for its own sake.
The goal is not for someone to perform an exercise perfectly.
But for them to live their life more easily.
To go hiking with joy.
To be able to lift their grandchild.
To have energy all day long.
And in the evening, still have the desire to live, not just survive.
If you feel now that your body is trying to talk you out of more and more things, don't accept it as natural.
Pain doesn't always mean something is permanently broken.
Often, it just signals that it's time to pay attention to yourself again.
And believe me…
It feels much better to wake up in the morning and not have your lower back be the first thing on your mind.
But rather, what you want to do with your day.
