5 reasons why we love Pilates so much?

We've put together some of the obvious reasons why we would recommend Pilates to practically anyone!

  1. Pilates is not a movement that causes a violent heart palpitation, nor is it a movement that is demanding on the circulatory system and joints. It is very effective, especially for people who are sedentary all day, as it gives a thorough workout and improves posture.
  2. It helps you stay lean, makes your muscles strong and flexible, and even requires muscle work that targets muscles that have been inactive. This can even result in a pleasant muscular sensation in all parts of the body.
  3. The exercises performed during Pilates are designed to develop body awareness, and the exercises are steady, gradual and individualised, so that the whole musculature works as a harmonious unit.
  4. It increases stamina and also gives us flexibility, as in many exercises, active muscle work is done during stretching to increase flexibility.
  5. It is also highly recommended if you want to recover quickly and effectively from an injury. However, it is also effective in cases of hip, knee and other musculoskeletal disorders, as it is gentle on the joints and does not put unnecessary strain on the affected parts of the body.
