A kind thoughtfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there is something we talk about less often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women's Day can actually be a reminder.<br>A reminder of how important the quality of woman is in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The care.<br>Attention.<br>Patience.<br>The sensitivity.<br>The special ability to notice the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the values that keep families together, build communities and make the world a more human place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet there is a strange phenomenon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many women take care of everyone else...<br>but not about yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Self-care is not a luxury<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people feel that taking time for themselves is selfish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the opposite is true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-care is not a luxury.<br>Not a reward.<br>And it's not selfish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Self-care&nbsp;<strong>basic condition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because if you are exhausted,<br>if your back hurts,<br>if you are under constant stress,<br>you will eventually run out of energy to give to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then you don't have more patience - you have less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not more attention - but tension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So self-care is not about choosing yourself over others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's about&nbsp;<strong>you retain the strength to give to others.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When a woman is well in her body<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most beautiful things I see in my work is the change when a woman starts to reconnect with her body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When he realises that the movement is not a punishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not \"must\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's a gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An hour when you finally listen to yourself.<br>For your breath.<br>His movements.<br>On his own body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that's when something interesting happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only will it be stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's calmer.<br>More focused.<br>More serene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that energy radiates out to everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To the family.<br>To work.<br>On relationships.<br>For life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Female strength is not about survival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The modern world often expects women to be able to do everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Get to work.<br>Organise.<br>Take care of.<br>Solve everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But female strength is not about continued survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Female strength is more about&nbsp;<strong>about connectivity<\/strong>&nbsp;about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connecting with ourselves.<br>To our bodies.<br>To our feelings.<br>And to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When that connection is made, that's when the real power comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A little Women's Day reminder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On Women's Day, it's not just flowers you should give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But also a reminder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>your body is important<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>rest is important<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>movement is important<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the time you take for yourself is important<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because when a woman is well in her body and in her life, she&nbsp;<strong>the world around it will be a better place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And perhaps that is the real message of Women's Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf3f&nbsp;<strong>Happy Women's Day to all women.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you do just one thing for yourself today, whether it's a walk, a deep breath or a bit of exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your body - and your life - will thank you for it.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 8 March we give flowers to women.A nice gesture.
